The Provincial Council assists the Provincial Superior in the spiritual leadership and governance of the Thailand Province. In specific matters provided by Canon Law (Canon 627), decisions require the Council's consent, not only its counsel.
"Counsel + Consent" — the Council does not merely advise; on certain matters defined by Canon Law and the Constitutions, its consent is required for the Provincial's decisions to take effect.
