DAILY PRAYER OF THE COMMUNITY

In every community of the Brothers, the day is shaped by a regular pattern of prayer — the foundation on which all apostolic work rests.

A TYPICAL DAY

Early morning	Personal meditation (mental prayer)
Morning	Lauds (Morning Prayer of the Church) · Holy Mass
Midday	Daytime Prayer (a brief office at noon)
Late afternoon / early evening	The Holy Rosary (often in common, before supper)
Evening	Vespers (Evening Prayer of the Church)
Before retiring	Compline (Night Prayer) · spiritual reading

THE FOUNDATIONS

The four pillars of the Brother's daily prayer are:

The Eucharist — the source and summit of the Christian life;
The Liturgy of the Hours — the prayer of the Church, prayed in common;
The Holy Rosary — the Marian prayer dear to Saint Louis-Marie;
Personal meditation — silent listening before the Lord.

Prayer is not an addition to the day — it is the day. Everything else flows from this hidden centre, where the Brother stands in silence before the One who has called him.
